i read this not so long ago. i'm a huuuge classics fan but could not get along with 'the catcher in the rye' at all i'm sorry to say. maybe i just didn't get it or couldn't relate to holden's lifestyle but it just wasn't for me. i found the language irritating & holden quite a frustrating character. strange as i thought i'd love it.
