Oohlala, love blue

I found this wonderful blue room (which was featured in Domino Magazine), thanks to Anna's wonderful blog Absolutely Beautiful Things. This is the most beautiful and vibrant blue. It just makes you happy! It's almost the color of my blog.

Oohlala....what a living room.

I love this living room from Living Etc. It's so simple, clean and the bright workspace at the end just makes you want to be creative. I imagine there to be a big comfy deep linen couch that you can't see to the left where you can curl up with a book. Clean, classic, modern, simple. Oohlala.

Summertime in the city!

Hot chocolate to die for!

Who can resist a cup of hot chocolate especially when it comes in a container like this. MarieBelle has some of the finest and most beautiful chocolates in the world. Located in Soho it is a must for anyone visiting to New York. In the meantime check out their website. They have wonderful selection of teas and treats as well.

These are adorable for your little winged friends who need homes too. I found these at a new favorite onine store called Sprout Home. It was mentioned in Domino. It's a great place for finding uique gifts!

I love this slate cheese board that you can write on from VivaTerra a great company focused on ecoliving. You can write the name of the cheeses on the board! It makes a beautiful presentation when throwing a wine and cheese party or having guests over!

I just love my new passport holder made by VITAL with Bueller Designs WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO photo on it. Fellow Etsian Vital makes wonderful products with very cool graphic designs. I also bought a great t-shirt with a very cool vintage camera on it. Check them out.

I love the old telescope and the wonderful pink blue of the sky. This is a rare site. Just grabbed the shot before the pink disappeared.

Bueller Designs Marble Coastsers

Check out Bueller Designs Marble coasters now at Elsewares Ryan and Audrey run a wonderful site supporting independent design. They have a keen eye and great taste. The coasters are handmade using a complicated photo transfer process and the images are transferred onto tumbled marble tile. Each coaster is sealed with a waterproof varnish and backed with a colorful carpet tile. They are a lot of fun to make. All the photos are from my collection of photographs featuring various LA street artists.

How fantastic is this kitchen! I'm a gemini and so I'm constantly rearranging furniture and moving things around. I love the round casters on this huge island. Looks like a great place to eat, do art projects, and entertain! Love it!! Found it on the domino magazine site, one of my faves. I love the big leather storage bins at the bottom and the comfy cushioned stools!

Rainy Friday

Lots of rain today. We are in such desperate need of it. Lends itself to some different photos for sure. Still looking for a camera bag for women. Still haven't found any yet. Any ideas out there?

Summer is Coming

Today is cold and brusque. Unusual for this time of year. My new series of summer photos really gets one in the mood to grab a book and sit on the beach with some hot cocoa.
